Hotdog Showdown is the signature event of the Rotaract Club of Informatics Institute of Technology (RACIIT) since 2014, first started at our very own common room within IIT premises which has since been evolved from just a hotdog eating competition to now a food festival that is held at Green Path with numerous stalls, celebrity guest appearances, a motor show and many more.

E-Mithudama is a the signature project which is based around the core objective of helping school children from rural, underprivileged areas of the country- to support and uplift their computer literacy, Rotaract Club of IIT was inspired by the opportunity they could provide by partnering up with Unilever Sri Lanka Limited to deliver the younger generation of our country with the touch of advance technology that the world is currently experiencing.

Halloween is a night for fun, fear and laughs. A night to be afraid and to enjoy the thrill of fear. A night of mystery, where you can be anyone or anything. The Halloween season would not be complete without a fantastic Halloween party to cap it off. The Rotaract Club of the Informatics Institute of Technology as the veterans of this tradition proudly hosted the annual Halloween party, Sally’s Manor 2019.

‘HaXmas’ is an annual Ideathon organized by the Rotaract club of Informatics Institute of Technology with the mission of bringing like-minded people with innovative ideas together to compete against one another while pushing the limits of technology. This project was initiated for the sole reason of giving everyone a chance to showcase their unique ideas and receive recognition from the latest emerging companies.

PFL (Pro futsal league) took place at Club Fusion, Boralesgamuwa on the 28th of March 2021. The main aim behind this project was to bring Rotaractors from different clubs together in fellowship. With the selection of players following the auction, eight teams, 64 players and 8 mangers battled for the winning title. PFL 2021 was not just any other football league, there was friendship, fellowship and lifelong memories.
